One of the things I found most fascinating about today’s reading was the beautiful synchronicity of our Tarot cards. When I look at the beautiful spread of Divine Messengers we received today, a very clear and comforting message emerges. Looking at all the cards and runes as a whole, it truly speaks to the fact that we are heading right into the weekend. This is our cosmic permission slip to relax, rejuvenate, and be at peace. I absolutely love the Whispers of the Ocean oracle cards we pulled today. The three of them together make such a profound statement. Being insightful and established is particularly interesting to me right now. In today's world, it is so rare to see people truly establishing themselves. Instead, we see a lot of people just following trends, or conversely, trying their hardest to stay completely off everyone's radar—which I completely understand! But the universe is asking us to be insightful about our energy and to establish ourselves by being, once again, authentically you. That seems to be the beautiful, running theme through so many of our readings lately.

Then we have Gliding through the currents. Yes, there are always going to be people swimming aggressively in the opposite direction. Let them. Keep focused on your own goals, move forward gracefully, and let the universe surprise you.

When you glide rather than fight, you open yourself up to finding the magic and miracles throughout the day. That is exactly what Help appears in various ways is all about. You might be stressing out, thinking you need someone to hand you exactly $500 to solve a problem, but the universe often delivers the help you need through completely different avenues that accomplish the exact same goal.

It is one of those little magic miracles we have to consciously look for. Radley Valentine wrote a book that I absolutely loved reading, and he spoke so beautifully about how there is truly magic in every single day—we just don't always look for it. When talking about manifesting your magical life, he pointed out that finding a penny, or maybe a quarter in a parking lot, is a little bit of magic. Appreciate that magic for exactly what it is! As you consciously make an effort to look for these little winks from the universe, you are going to see more and more magic appearing within your own life. You will be amazed at how much different your reality feels.

Interestingly, we also received Feoh, a rune of abundance. When you pair an abundance rune with an oracle telling us that help appears in various ways, it is just spectacular cosmic reinforcement.

Add the Ace of Wands to the mix, and we have a powerful recipe for a great new beginning. It is time to take that creative fire and that passion and move forward. When I sat down to pull our cards for today’s Mystic Musings, the very first messengers to pop out were our Angel Cards: Education and Play. If you know me, you know I am a massive fan of education. I love taking courses, I love learning new material, and I absolutely love teaching others. But these two cards together brought a flood of wonderful memories rushing back to me.

It reminded me of being in kindergarten through third grade, when my friends and I used to write and put on our own plays at school. We were learning so much, but we were doing it purely through play. I’ve always found that the easiest and most engaging way to learn anything is to make it fun. When I taught high school for a short time, one of my students' absolute favorite things to do was play trivia. It was just a fun, low-pressure way to absorb the material.

Honestly, Schoolhouse Rock is, to this day, one of the most brilliant and engaging ways to learn about grammar, the solar system, history, and our government. If you have never watched a Schoolhouse Rock video, I 1000% recommend it! (I’ve popped a link for you at the bottom of this post.)

Education is a serious thing, but sometimes the very best way to learn serious things is to have fun with them. This is especially true when it comes to our spiritual education. As we learn about ourselves, work on grounding our energy, and grow, we are quite literally getting an education on who we truly are. But we learn best when we do it with joy. You cannot be too hard on yourself.

A dear friend of mine taught me a saying a few years back that I use all the time: "So what? Now what?"

If you put that into perspective with your spiritual education and personal growth, it is profoundly liberating. Okay, so a situation happened. I can't change it because it is now a historical fact in the Universal Realm. But it happened. So what? Now what am I going to do to move forward? How do I learn from this experience?

Every minute of every day is an education. Enjoy it! Have fun with it. Don't take everything so seriously. I have an acquaintance who does nothing but tell me how horrible his life is. He constantly talks about how this is not the life he wanted back in the day, how he did this, that, and the other thing, and now he’s stuck in this situation. He spends all of his time—and all of his energetic education—focusing on what went wrong in the background. Instead of looking at his current scenario and asking, "How do I go forward from here?" he belabors the past. This Master Number 11 day is asking us to be visionaries, not historians. Break free from that heavy, backward-looking energy—that is exactly what our Liberation oracle card is pushing us to do!

This also brings me to the incredible Tarot combination we received today. The Universe specifically wanted us to look at two different decks: The Transparent Tarot and The Harmony Tarot.

I have to mention that I absolutely adore when the Transparent Tarot comes up. I love all my decks and relate to them personally, but the Transparent Tarot is a favorite because it is ever-changing and ever-growing. Because you lay the clear cards on top of each other, and there are 78 cards in a deck, there is an infinite, endless possibility of what can be created and learned each day. It is spectacular.

But look at the profound message in using these two specific decks together: You find Harmony within yourself when you are transparent.

When you are transparent, you don't have to worry about what story you told to whom. Being transparent simply means being authentic. You just are who you are. The Queen of Wands and King of Swords are giving us the perfect blend of passionate confidence and clear-headed intellect to stand our ground (Seven of Wands) in our authenticity.

About 20 years ago, a very astute friend told me something that made a massive impact on my life. She said that people either loved me or hated me, but it was always for the exact same reason.

I think that is probably one of the best compliments I have ever received. It shows that I am just who I am. Those who are threatened by transparency, honesty, and me being authentic to who I am and what I believe? They hate me. But those who appreciate those traits? They love me. I vividly remember my grandmother—who was such a profound intuitive influence on me during my childhood—reading "Laughter is the Best Medicine" to me from Reader's Digest when I was younger. I have to tell you, I was really, really excited to see The Nightmare Before Christmas Tarot deck get chosen for today's reading! I had been waiting to see when this deck was finally going to surface, and it had actually been on my mind a lot over the weekend. I am so glad that it did, because its message is exactly what we need as we kick off a brand new week.

Yes, pulling the Eight and Nine of Needles definitely pointed out some self-criticisms, mental loops, and underlying negativity. But here is the beautiful truth about that: the awareness of the negativity is absolutely necessary, because that is the only way you can actually overcome it! We cannot heal what we refuse to acknowledge. It is about owning the fact that, yeah, life is not perfect. But when we learn to accept the bad and consciously celebrate the good, life in general becomes so much happier.

Breaking Free from Glittering GeneralitiesWith the heavy mental energy of the Needles swirling around, the Angels stepped in with the perfect antidote today: Grace.

One of the things I think we really need to focus on right now is giving not only ourselves but everyone else a little more Grace. First off, I firmly believe we are our own toughest critics. We are almost always faster to allow others Grace than we are to extend it to ourselves.

I think a lot of times we fall into this "glittering generalities" mentality, where we quickly categorize people without actually giving them the grace they need to just be their own person.
