As an intuitive, I know better than to ignore an earworm like that. Today’s reading pulled out a lot of memories and familiar faces for me, which has been incredibly enjoyable. I was absolutely stoked when the Shakespeare deck came out today. It felt like a warm "good morning" from Watson B. Duncan III himself—the big S and all! And for those of you who know, you know.

The angels delivered a beautifully oxymoronic selection of cards at first glance today: Obedience paired with Be Wild. Confusing, right? How can you be both obedient and wild?

What this combination is truly telling us is that when life derails, we must be fiercely obedient to our true selves. We need to unleash our wild, authentic nature to navigate the chaos without losing our purpose. You have the tools, you have the knowledge, and you have the power. Do not let external static detract from your inner magic.

This reminds me of a profound piece of wisdom shared by a very dear friend of mine, Cindy, whose family owned Inspiration House in Wasaga Beach. She once told me:

"When you are getting hit from all sides, that's when you're closest to your divine self. The devil is attacking you because they don't want you to succeed with God's plan."

That sentiment struck me deeply then, and it rings incredibly true today.

The Wisdom of the Four of Swords and King Henry V
In the Shakespeare Tarot today, we pulled the Four of Swords, referencing the play Henry V. This perfectly mirrors the themes we've been discussing all week about shedding the people and habits that no longer serve us.

If you aren't familiar with the story of Henry V, he became king at the young age of twenty-four. In his youth, he wasn't exactly the most upstanding citizen. But when he took the throne, he had to actively separate from his previous life and the company he kept. He realized he had valid historical lineage to rule France, and he decided to claim it. Interestingly, he was encouraged by church officials who essentially wanted to distract the young king from taking their property taxes! Go figure, right?

When the French Dauphin (the prince) heard of Henry's plans, he mocked the young king's past reputation by sending him a highly dismissive gift: a chest of tennis balls. This insult infuriated Henry and solidified his decision to invade.

Henry's journey to stepping into his power was anything but smooth. He uncovered an assassination plot against him by three English lords—two of whom were his close friends. Recognizing that you cannot threaten the king, he executed them, demonstrating a strict, newly honed sense of justice.

His army crossed the channel, took the town of Harfleur (delivering the famous "Once more unto the breach, dear friends" speech), and marched toward Agincourt. By this point, his men were sick, exhausted, and vastly outnumbered. But Henry didn't sit in an ivory tower. He disguised himself as an ordinary soldier and walked through the camp, genuinely listening to his men's complaints and fears. The next day, he delivered a motivational speech so inspiring that the English miraculously won with minimal casualties, dealing a devastating blow to the French forces.

In the end, Henry negotiated peace by marrying Princess Catherine of France. He fully tempered his youthful behaviors, left the proverbial prostitutes behind, and stepped into the absolute truest, most just version of himself as King.

What a brilliant representation of exactly what we are doing as we move forward on our spiritual journeys!

The Magic of Moss Agate
To tie this all together, today's crystal is Moss Agate. If you look closely at a piece of moss agate, you will often find breathtaking, intricate landscape artwork hidden within the stone.

The universe is reminding us that we often look at frustrating or chaotic situations without looking deeply enough to see the beauty within them. Paired with our "Obedience" and "Wild" oxymoron, the Moss Agate and the story of King Henry are echoing the same powerful message.

When I sat down to pull the cards for today's reading, one thing became immediately clear: the energy is practically vibrating off the table! These cards were so ready to be chosen and incredibly eager to share their message.

In fact, I noticed this vibrant, radiating energy from the moment I stepped outside this morning. While I was out watering my orchids, I could literally see the energy radiating around them. Sometimes the energy of the day feels very vertical, pulling us up or grounding us down, but today? Today, it is simply radiating outward, like a beautiful, glowing aura surrounding everything.

The Springtime of Tarot
I absolutely love that we had the Page of Wands pairing up with the Ace of Cups today. Those of you who have followed my live sessions or read my blogs know that I am always a huge fan of getting an Ace. Aces bring such beautiful newness, fresh opportunities, and a clean slate. They are essentially the springtime of tarot cards!

What I find incredibly poetic (and a little bit funny) is that this highly energized, passionate, and joyful pull came from the Zenned Out Journey Tarot. For a deck with "zen" in the title, it certainly delivered an exhilarating spark of excitement today! It is pushing us to focus on pure joy and getting perfectly in sync with our true selves.

I also used a deck that is relatively new to me—the Sacred Web Tarot—and I am truly loving it. Today, it offered us The Hierophant, which this deck beautifully renames "The Teacher." It gives today's high-flying energy a much-needed grounded feel, providing a super strong, foundational base from which we can confidently move forward.

Blowing Away the Cobwebs
Our Oracle cards today perfectly echo this theme of fresh starts and energetic clearing. The Gaia Oracle gave us a stunning pairing: Winter’s End and Night Wind.

Winter's End is a beautiful validation that your barren season is officially over. That heavy period where you weren't truly, authentically living as you? That is ending. You are now stepping fully into your realm and your power.

When you pair that with the Night Wind, the imagery is just spectacular. In my mind's eye, I see all of our old hurts, all the transgressions people have committed against us, and all the limiting beliefs we've held onto, just being swept up and blown away in this magical, cleansing wind.

A Warm Hug from Carnelian
To support this energy, today's crystal is Carnelian. As a sacral chakra stone, it has always felt incredibly warm and inviting to me.

Now, Carnelian is famously known as a stone of creativity. Honestly, I have never felt naturally drawn to it for its creative properties—perhaps because I've already got plenty of natural creativity flowing, so I leave the Carnelian for those who need a little extra spark! But despite that, I have always adored it. I have several pieces of Carnelian jewelry because its vibration is just so comforting. Wearing it feels exactly like getting a warm hug. As we step into our truest, most authentic selves, one of the first obstacles we inevitably collide with is fear.

In today’s reading, the Fear card from the Healing the Inner Child Oracle stepped forward immediately. While it’s easy to view fear as a negative omen, this card is actually a powerful invitation to face what scares us. Growing into who you are meant to be means combatting the fear of being different, the fear of living your truth, and—perhaps most dauntingly—the fear of outgrowing the people currently in your circle.
