Change can be terrifying, especially when life forces a sudden, 180-degree pivot. Once you experience that kind of abrupt shift, it is natural to become leery of change. As a Taurus-Aries cusp, I understand the traditional Taurean resistance to change all too well! But I actively choose to embrace it.

Einstein famously said that the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. In that light, change is actually sanity. You don't always need to make a massive, earth-shattering move, but tweaking at least one factor in your current scenario is often exactly what is needed to break a stagnant cycle. Surrender, Grace, and the Center of the Universe

We talked about surrender yesterday, and it's telling that this theme is stepping forward again. It's a gentle nudge to focus on letting go and actively choosing to move into a state of grace. Giving grace means extending it to others when it's hard, to the universe when things don't make sense, and—most importantly—to ourselves. Taking time for ourselves isn't selfish; it’s protective.

I’ll share a little real-life application with you: I have a friend who is, without exaggeration, one of the most self-centered individuals I have ever met. Over time, I’ve had to learn to give this person an enormous amount of grace simply because I understand that's just who they are. It’s one of those moments where I smile and think, "Ah, yes, the world revolves around you, I forgot!"

But because I consciously choose to lean into grace, their behavior doesn't really bother me as much anymore. I just observe it. In fact, I've told my other friends that if I ever act like that, please just shoot me! I have never desired to be the center of the universe—I just want to be happy moving around in it.

Finding Your Sparkle
When we give ourselves and others that level of grace, we open the door to Delight.

Delight is such a magnificent word. It’s so much more than just being "happy." Happiness is great, but delight? Delight is happiness times a billion. There is a playfulness in delight.
